She watched a family with two kids walk out of her best friend's shop with bright orange bags with She watched the little girl share a piece of the candy with her brother.

It was twenty minutes till eleven, she still had a few minutes to watch people to distract her.

She looked away from the offending box to the clock on the wall. It had been six months since a very confusing breakup and she didn't want to be reminded of it yet again. She had planned to give it to her now ex-boyfriend for his Yule book on Christmas Eve. At the start of the year Hermione reached out to her business contacts in the United States and had them searching for the book there. It was a rare book on ancient runes that had been hard to find in England. But this box brought her mood down when she saw the contents. It usually meant that she was getting new books to enjoy. She had been excited to see her order from the Hidden Codex bookshop that morning. The thought of the approaching holidays warred with the feelings from the package on the sideboard made her heart ache. She could use some niece and nephew adventures and giggles.

Hermione felt an intense need for some family time and was ever grateful that it was Sunday and she was going to have lunch and dinner there.
